| With the progress of the times, it is advocated to provide equal opportunities for every student to promote their all-round development. The research on learning disabilities is becoming more and more popular in the fields of education, psychology and so on. Organic chemistry is an important branch of chemistry, and it is also an important part of high school chemistry curriculum, which plays a very important role in raising students’ scientific quality. On the basis of literature review and interviews, combined with research by scholars home and aboard, senior one students learning psychology and learning characteristics and laws of organic chemistry, I designed organic chemistry, “a high-grade second semester June exam†and “a questionnaire learning of organic chemistry" with which 242 students in senior one in a high school in Luannan county in the city Tangshan are surveyed in studying organic chemistry. I found that learning disabilities in organic chemistry are mainly the following two aspects:(1) Student internal factors:①organic chemistry students with learning disabilities lack interest in learning;②The methods of the chemistry students with learning disabilities are unscientific;③The attitude of organic chemistry students with learning disabilities is not correct;④organic chemistry students with learning disabilities lack motivation;⑤organic chemistry students with learning disabilities have weak mind.(2) external factors:①organic chemistry students with learning disabilities with a poor level have a poor ability to understand and apply the knowledge;②teachers focus on traditional education rather than learning skills;③family education manners are improper. After analyzing the results of the investigation, I propose recommendations to eliminate the learning disabilities of the organic chemistry students:(1) for internal factors I suggest that: ①based upon classroom teaching, enhance interest in learning organic chemistry from a number of angles;②cultivate good learning methods;③ follow the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and attention to each student’s learning needs;④ make use of the history and extracurricular study groups to motivate students.(2) recommendations for external environmental factors: ①construct knowledge model by themselves and learn the laws of the concepts;②comprehensive implementation of analogical reasoning, cooperation and exchanges and other learning strategies;③teachers should love students and educational career;④Schools consider students from all-round aspects;⑤parents should create a good family atmosphere;⑥parents should respect the child’s personality and positively evaluate of the children;⑦expectation of their children’s education should be appropriate.Overcoming the learning disabilities is a long and challenging task. It needs the teacher’s dedication, the consistent efforts of the students, and the support and cooperation from families and schools. We hope that this research will provide some reference for teachers in basic education in organic chemistry teaching. |
