| Nowadays, along with the rapid development of economy and science, the demand for talents presents diversification. Communication ability and cooperation ability are society’s basic requirements for talents. Education bears the responsibility of fostering talents possessing communicative and cooperative skills. Therefore, the math teacher of Junior High school should pay more attention to develop the students’ ability to communicate and cooperate with others so as to cultivate various talents who can meet social requirements.Meanwhile, the traditional teaching model has been broken because of the implementation of new curriculum reform. “People-oriented†educational concept is gaining popular support and the teaching model of “students as principle parts and teachers as conductors†is processing. A lot of educators and researchers are discussing how to improve the students’ ability of cooperation and communication. Among them, table type learning model in groups is being accepted and promoted by a lot of teachers and students.This thesis focuses on the significance, current situation, strategy, practical application of the table type teaching in Junior math. The author obtains some practical strategy of table type teaching by drawing lessons from the predecessors and peer’s research results and analyzing one’s own teaching practice.1. The strategy of teaching plan.2. The selection strategy of cooperative learning.3. The active involvement strategy of cooperative learning.4. The strategy of creating a free, democratic and equal learning atmosphere.5. The strategy of inspiration.The effects of this table type teaching can be tested through the practice research of the above strategies. The student can make rapid progress in grades, the ability of cooperation, the ability of analysis and the ability of solving problems. The table type teaching in Junior math could get better effects if strategy is used properly.However, this teaching method has its disadvantages:1. Some students echo blindly..2. Some students are asocial.3. The shyness.3.
