Accompanied by opportunities and challenges, the 21st century has raised a higher demand for senior high school students’scientific education, in which physics is one of the most important subjects for carrying out scientific education and improving senior high school students’ scientific qualities. Therefore, it has become increasingly concerned whether senior high school’s physical education has met the requirement of this new century. In view of the present situation, the questionnaire survey method was used to investigate, which contained two versions of the teachers and students. With the help of different categories of problems, there will be a relatively comprehensive understanding for the majority of teachers and students in view of new textbooks, in order to provide important data support for carrying out in-depth exploration. Subsequently, based on simple comparison between New Standards of Physic Curriculum in High Schools and the US National Science Education Standards, this article took modern physics as an example, probing into the differences between Sino-US high schools’ two commonly used teaching materials in several aspects, including the column, related points, exercises numbers and experiments and apparatus, etc.Results showed that the differences between the two countries are reflected in the following aspects:different knowledge structure, different requirements for knowledge, and the more emphasis on the process in China, highlighting the exploration activity. Combined with the above analysis, while prepared the high school physics courses, we should vigorously develop the supplementary resources of teaching material, combine with the real life of students, enhance interdisciplinary cross fusion between different subjects, and pay attention to cultivate the students’ comprehensive ability. According to these pathways, it so as to provide several suggestions and opinions for the new curriculum standard textbooks, promote the quality and level of Physics Textbook of senior high school in our country, and improve the students’ comprehensive quality, cultivating a large number of outstanding talents.
