The grading test of children dance began in early 1986,28 years ago. During this period, all kinds of dance training emerged in endlessly. One of the most striking courses was grading test class, and because of its flourishing, it drew experts and scholars’ attention. Professor Sun Guangyan who works in Dance Academy once commented," As a popular aesthetic education, China’s grading test could be studied by everyone, which is also referred to an extracurricular elective. Chinese dance grading test not only shoulders the responsibility for infants, children, adolescents and young people’s aesthetic education, but also fosters their physical health, literacy, moral values. What’s more, dance grading test has an impact on childera’s development of intelligence, cultivation of character and improvement of aesthetic." Therefore, the influence of dance grading tests was universally accepted when it was established.And positive profound impact it brings is constantly changing our country’s dance education.With the deepening of education reform, the development of extracurricular dance training faces new opportunities and challenges.In the development of children dance, dance grading test plays a pivotal role, which is worthwhile for us to understand and do researches. By enhancing the researches of dancing, it could contribute to developing children dance progressively, standardizing China’s children dance education system and promoting rapid standardized development of China’s children dance and level of the whole dance.Grading test of dance originated from the United Kingdom is a ballet grade test which was first established in 19th century. And now, ballet grade test has been popularized in more than 60 countries and regions.Thus, teaching and evaluating methodologies which ballet grade test uses could be increasing diverse and standardized. The United State also established core status of arts education in fundamental education and make dance education become an important part of arts education in Education Law in 1994. In China, only in cities like Beijing,Tianjin, Shanghai and Guangzhou which have a rich dance culture, the system could be established in the forefront. Grading test systems in the United States and Europe become increasingly mature. However, children Chinese dance is a unique sort of dance. A grading test system which could be suitable for Chinese children’ physical and mental development and show the characteristics of children Chinese dance should be established and improved. Comparing to overseas grading test systems which has over 80 years history, China’s dance grading test system is still "young". And more researches and enhancement are supposed to be done.Methodologies include:(1) through questionnaires, understanding and researching students who take grading test in Shao Nian Gong. And summarizing students’ and parents’ attitudes toward it.Then discussing the strength and weakness of institutions of dance training. All these data support the passage. Through surveys, understanding and researching training teachers and grading examiners. Then analyzing their advice from their prospective.(2)Comparative summary method,through questionnaires, at the same level of grading test, analyzing and comparing the survey data or comparing students who take different level of grading test. By such a comparison, it could provide data for passage. At the same time, comparing teachers’ questionnaires then getting summary.(3)Using literature. Before writing this passage, a variety of literature which is relevant to children dance has been collected, read, analyzed and summarized.
