Children‘s pre-school education comes from kindergarten teacher, but more is from parents.Pre-school education is the basic stage for shaping children’s mental, developing their potential and cultivating their personality.Educators, in several ways,exert influnce on children in all aspects of daily life.Children’s picture books play an important part in children’s learning.Most of the children love picture books, and children aged three to seven, has already started to contact with simple chinese characters, which to them is a gradual process of accumulation. Compared to reading chinese characters, children need not deliberately learn how to read pictures, which is inherently possessed. Some scholars hold the view for children illustrations that in children’s story books, as long as there are pictures there, children will find out with their eyes.Before the kids begin to know, or with a small number of characters, picture books for them, are indispensable tools.Pictures are precondition for them when dealing with books.Picture books,whether based on pictures and supplemented in text or half-half are good for preschool children’s imagination. and can inspire their creativity.It can also help them know things around, motivate their love for art and literature.So, illustration is the most suitable spiritual sustenance for preschool children and is also a key to opening the door of wisdom of preschoolers.In recent years, illustration art has became popular in China. Children’s illustrations, as a branch of it, due to the huge demand, develop at a fast speed.Whether on quantity or quality,it has made certain progress.But some merchants’ s excessive pursuit of efficiency and cost savings have led to some shoddy illustration works drawn by irresponsible children illustration designers, what’s worse,a part of works are deviated from the cognitive level of children, failing to conform to the children’s cognitive characteristics.This paper mainly studies the role illustrations play in preschoolers growth,and is discussed respectively from the following aspects: illustration is necessary composition of preschool children’s books, the potential of preschool children and the part preschool children’s character play in preschool children’s growth.The point we are trying to prove is, illustration is an indispensable part in children’s growth, and is crucial to the development of children’s every aspect, and even it can affect a person’s life.Through the research, makes further attaches great importance to the illustration for children’s children’s book illustration carvers, thereby improving the quality of the illustrations drawn, also make the parents and other educators to further understanding and the attention to preschool education.Let the children can have a brighter and more brilliant future.
