Objective: This paper studies the relationship between attachment and aggression of left-behind children in rural areas and explores the emotion-regulation ability as an intermediary. Methods: The questionnaire. The survey selects 1056 students in 24 classes of 6 schools in Yueyang, Xiangtan and Hengyang of Hunan Province as objects who are tested by IPPA, adolescent aggression scale and the questionnaire about emotion-regulation abilities of adolescents. Then the paper adopts SPSS18.0 to conduct the descriptive statistic analysis of the data, t test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis,and use AMOS17.0 to conduct the mediating effect test. Results: 1. The aggressive of left-behind children in rural areas differ in gender, the harmonious degree of family relationship, non-single child, family rank boss, urban and rural, the attachment of Internet, grade and age.2.The aggression has a significant positive correlation with mother alienation, father alienation and companion alienation while it has a significant negative correlation with mothers’ trust. The mother alienation and father estranged, peer alienation can significantly predict the aggression.3.The dimensions of the aggression have significant correlation with attachment. The total scores of aggression have a significant positive correlation with emotional perception and have a significant negative correlation with emotional control. Emotional perception and emotional control can significantly predict the aggression.4, The emotion-regulation abilities between attachment and aggression intermediary effect. As complete mediation variable and partial medium variable are all effect.As a partial intermediary variable index better. Conclusion: The emotion-regulation ability has the mediation effect between the attachment and the aggression.
