Feasibility Study On Opening Line Dance Optional Courses In Universities Of Shaanxi Povince

As a new sports entertainment which introduced to our country since 2004, Line dance is accepted and favored by a lot of people in China, meanwhile in the colleges it becomes more and more popular and most college students like it very much. College student is a kind of special group, who’s willing of pursuit on new things and spiritual culture is much more than other people group. Sports education is an essential part of education in colleges and universities, however, the traditional sports education courses are not able to satisfy the students’ enthusiasm for sports culture and development, therefore to fulfill the college students’ physical and mental demand, the colleges’ sports education courses planning and consideration need to be continuously developed.Optional courses of Line dance, as a new physical education courses, currently does not have too many related reference documentation and study. Texpert interview, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and some other methods. It focuses on the feasibility analysis and study of opening line dance optional course in universities in Shaanxi province, tries to make some development and conclusion to the Line dance courses arrangement in colleges all over China. Based on the investigation and analysis done, the following conclusions have been got: ①Line dancing have little restrictions from the court and the sports equipments point of view, most colleges in Shaanxi province have already had the related equipment and other facilities to open the Line dance optional courses. ②According to the survey results, among the eight universities in the targets, four of them have opened a line dance courses, which means opening the line dance optional course in colleges in Shaanxi province is realistic and feasible. ③From the interviews and survey results, most of the teachers think it is necessary to open a line dance optional courses and are willing to be line dance optional courses teachers, this shows that the teachers who worked in sports education believe that it does make sense and quite necessary to open the Line dance optional courses in colleges nowadays. ④Line dance varies on styles and the movements gestures, this meet exactly the college students’ psychological demand of pursuit fashion and freestyle, with this fact line dance sport in Shaanxi province have had a good developing basis. ⑤From one side, Tnto national physical education can match the colleges education development long term direction and meet the modern steps. From the other side, it matches with the tend of sports education to be healthy, entertain mental, and universal. Suggestions: ①To make Line dance optional course can developed smoothly and well in colleges and universities in Shaanxi province, it is suggested that Shaanxi sports education official department should provide the professional and systematic training to the colleges in Shaanxi province, further more to introduce more expert on Line dance, to give a strong and professional support of the colleges to open the line dance optional courses in Shaanxi province. ②It is suggested that colleges and universities sports education departments organize some activities on Line dance performance, to let line dance sport can developed faster in campus and accepted by more and more college students, based on this to make a good basis for the line dance optional courses opening in colleges. ③ From the current status of Line dance development in colleges and universities of Shaanxi province, it is suggested that colleges and universities to open line dance as an optional but not mandatory, it will be more suitable for the development of line dance in colleges.
