One of swimming as a favorite and currently the most sought after sports programs, suitable for both an effective fitness method of all ages, but it is that everyone should have the basic survival skills in fitness extensive sports today, development and popularization of swimming in college students, has important practical significance. In recent years, a growing number of colleges and universities in Xi’an began to carry out teaching swimming courses, swimming along with colleges and universities also been rapid development. However, because many colleges and universities in Xi’an, swimming classes during each school to carry out the conditions and status of each are not identical. Therefore, although the overall development momentum is good, but in practice, many colleges and universities in Xi’an is also a problem many influences teaching swimming lessons normally.In this paper, literature, questionnaire methods, field observation, interview and logical analysis has been carried out to Xi’an swimming lesson eight colleges and universities for the study, carried out on swimming lessons situation were several schools a comprehensive system of research, the status of swimming teaching colleges and universities in Xi’an, factors for a comprehensive understanding of, and according to the current development situation and issue, in line with the current stage of the development strategy for teaching swimming lessons in Xi’an universities further conduct provides a theoretical basis.In order to understand the status of Xi’an College Swimming on teaching, article from the teachers, students and teaching in Xi’an City College Swimming on teaching three aspects of research, on the basis of results of the impact analysis of Xi’an Education College Swimming Course in main factors and problems. The results show that: the main factors College Swimming Teaching Course in Xi’an, the impact has five points: ideological emphasis, teacher qualifications, curriculum setting, current teaching model and teaching equipment Facilities. The current teaching swimming lessons to carry out the existing problems, it is mainly concentrated in the swimming teaching backward thinking, swim weak teachers of teachers, curriculum unreasonable swimming lessons, swimming lessons teaching model of a single, complete teaching facilities lack equipment obsolete in five areas.To solve the problem, making Xi’an Swimming lessons teaching more comprehensive development, research and development strategy put forward the following recommendations:First, improve teaching swimming guidelines, attention popularize the sport of college swim and swimming courses.Second, to strengthen the professional swim teachers, and strengthen swim full-time teachers.Third, improve teaching swimming teaching content, optimizing curriculum.Fourth, swimming teaching reform of university teaching model, diversified teaching.Fifth, increase funding, improve teaching swimming lessons venues and facilities, to provide hardware protection for the development of teaching swimming lessons.
