The math homework of junior middle school is an important part of the teaching activities. The heavy burden of after-school homework in primary and middle school always attracts the attentions of parents and society,because the heavy homework burden will affect the growth and development of primary and middle school students.The study,from the perspective of students, teachers and parents through the ways of questionnaires or interview outline, researches all the elements of the junior middle school math homework, and analyzes the internal relation and influences between each factor in-depth. Not only does it focus on the characteristics and requirements of junior middle school math discipline itself, but it pays more attention to the junior middle school students’ physical and mental characteristics and development needs. It also attaches great importance to the comparison between different objects of survey data, and analyzing the collected data from all-round perspective.We can find that math homework for most junior middle school students is to master the basic knowledge of math, improve the ability of problem solving, and improve test scores, but there are still some serious problems:for example, the evaluating approaches are simple and focus too much on fundamental points; students lack individuality; homework occupies too much time but with poor homework quality; too little teachers’ assessments is included, meanwhile, students only want to complete the homework withoutthinking and the feedback is very bad between teachers and students; parents put more homework to students blindly, the regulation is not suitable and the evaluation mechanism is very little.The main reasons of the above problems are teachers’ backward education concept, uneven professional level, the appraisal of teachers’ evaluation focus on the scores, teachers’ heavy work burden and poor communication with students; students’ lack of active learning motivation and emotion,low ability to shoulder pressure, lack of learning methods, and learning habits is bad; parents cannot give the right guidance to their child but increase students’ burden blindly; school and the department have difficulty in supervising homework, and the regulations are lack of operation.For the above problems, the author puts forward to how to improve the conditions in junior middle school math homework.Advice to junior middle school students: improving students’ interest and make their attitude the positive; adopting the right methods and forming a good habit and communicating actively between themselves.Advice to junior middle school math teachers: knowing the purpose and function; controlling the quantity and the difficulty, paying attention to quality of students’ performance and paying more attention to the target and level; innovating forms and enriching content; improving the evaluation forms and attaching great importance to the reflection.Advice to junior middle school students’ parents: strengthening the guidance; creating a active learning atmosphere; acting as a bridge between teachers and students.Advice to schools and education departments: strengthening research and offering in-depth guidance; strengthening the management and making our aims clear.
