Teachers’ professional development is an inevitable trend of the development of teachers’ higher education. School-based educational research as the new curriculum advocated teaching and research methods,playing an irreplaceable role in improving teaching level and solving practical problems in teaching.It is also an effective way to promote teachers’ professional development. However, due to various factors, in the implementation of the school-based educational research in rural schools cannot achieve the desired effect.This thesis selects five rural junior middle schools in Xinjin as the research objects. To carry out the investigation by questionnairing and personal interviewing. First, though questionnairing, the author try to get a full understanding of the main problems in the implementation of school-based educational research in rural junior middle schools in Xinjin.Then,based on the actual situation of the county, analyzing the causes and giving suggestions on how to carry out school-based teaching and research effectively to promote the professional development of rural teachers.This article is divided into five parts.The first part mainly expounds the purpose, significance and research methods of this research, and defines the relevant concepts.The second part is the theoretical basis of this study, from the school-based educational research and teachers’ professional development of research history、connotation and influence factors were summarized,and the current situation of rural school based research and rural teachers’ professional development.In the third part, I analyze the situation of school-based educational research in four rural junior middle schools in Xinjin County, and summarize the main problems in the rural areas.In the fourth part, I analyze the problems of school-based educational research in rural junior middle school in Xinjin county,from the school leaders attach importance to the teacher’s own burnout and school atmosphere,combined with the results of questionnaire survey、interview content.In the fifth part, I put forward the strategies,combining with the actual situation of Xinjin County. Changing concept, cultivating reflective consciousness;seeking effective forms of school-based educational research; creating a good system security for teachers’ teaching and researching;making full use of various forces in school.
