| With the rapid development of the world’s diversity and economic globalization, China’s social and economic level of development go hand in hand with the world level. The rapid development of political, economic, technological, and cultural put forward higher requirements to talents. Fast pace of life, high social pressure are two major features of modern life, which is accompanied by an endless stream of mental illness. Mental illness also occurred in student groups due to higher academic pressure. Middle School students is major power for the social and economic development of China’s in the 21 st century, therefore it is significant to enhance the overall quality of high school students. And the psychological quality is the foundation and an important part of the overall quality, so mental health education curriculum plays an important role in training and formation of health psychology of middle school students. Current situation of implementation of secondary mental health education curriculum is an urgent and sustained attention to the issue in depth investigation.This paper made "Mental Health Guidance Outline primary and secondary education" as the guide, using literature analysis, questionnaire and interviews and other research methods comprehensively, using self questionnaire to investigate three full-time high school students and 524 high schools in 29 mental health education workers in Shihezi City area, and went in-depth interviews with one of the three mental health education classes teachers to understand the current implementation of high school mental health education classes, through the existing high school mental health education classes implementation to analyze the results, and to try to identify problems, to explore the effect of promoting mental health curriculum in high school education and improve the implementation of strategies, activation programs, and effectively improve the mental health education classes in high school.The full text is divided into six sections:Chapter One: Introduction, this section includes background significance of the study, the raised study questions, related concepts of high school mental health education classes, review of researches and discussion of the theoretical basis of this study.Chapter Two: The research tool that investigate the current situation of implementation of mental health education classes in high school is introduced. Because this study uses self scale, the preparation of the scale, the initial test, revise, and explore evaluation dimensions, reliability and validity testing and other content in this chapter are presented.Chapter Three: Investigation and Analysis section of the implementation of mental health education classes, five areas are investigated respectively : the effect of mental health education classes in high school curriculum, self-development needs of students, classroom implementation, teachers’ professional skills and the emotional response of students. Through the use of SPSS17.0, data is analyzed by descriptive analysis, statistical analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, founding that high school students have great demand for mental health education classes and related psychological knowledge, but there are still many problems in the curriculum results Students internal development, classroom teaching methods and teaching materials that are generally reflected by students and teachers.Chapter 4: This chapter mainly talks about problems. Through the analysis of interviews combined with survey results of individual students and mental health education teachers, the paper found problems in mental health education classes in high school such as the class time cannot be guaranteed, marginalization, teaching materials are not practical, low status of teachers and the work of mental health education isn’t systematic.Chapter 5: After analyzed all the above issues and research findings comprehensively, this chapter explores the improvements of mental health education classes in high school. First, the discipline location and attributes of mental health education should be clarified, and then the construction of teachers should be strengthened, as well as the optimization of the course materials, using a variety of teaching methods to make class alive, and each responsive part should also support the school mental health education development jointly.The last part is the conclusion, the harvest and weaknesses of this study are summarized, paving the way and preparing for further mental health education research. |
