The employment of Normal College graduates has become an important part of the common concern of the university student’s employment, which is also directly related to the future development of China’s Higher Teacher Education. The Normal graduates are shouldering the sacred mission about teaching and cultural heritage; both of their training quality and the employment level are important indicators to measure the long-term development of China’s educational undertakings. Xinjiang is located in the northwest border of China, the economic and educational development are still relatively slower than the inland provinces. Therefore, attention to the Normal College graduates employment especially focusing on the employment of Normal College graduates in Xinjiang has a very important practical significance, therewith suitable employment promotional policy has thus become an urgent task.This study aims to taking the existing problem of the employment of Xinjiang Normal University graduates as a starting point with overall employment data statistics analysis in past three years and supplemented with the interview data of employment personnel, the recruitment unit, teachers who are responsible for employment, department leadership and graduates representatives.then talking about the factors of Normal College graduates the employment and proposed effective countermeasures and suggestions. Roughly summarized as follows:The first part, introduction(background, purpose and meaning, definition, literature review, research methods and ideas, research framework).The second part, investigation about the relevant data on the current situation in Xinjiang Normal University graduates nearly three years(based on the employment rate, employment flows, employment areas, employment of professional structure and match to analyze the characteristics and changes trends).The third part, in way of qualitative research to analysis the factors affecting the employment of Normal College graduates(based on the existing issues of the Normal University graduates employment and interview data, mainly from the society, schools, students themselves to explore the factors that affecting employment)The fourth part, proposes countermeasures and suggestions to promote the employment of the Normal College graduates(from employment environment, schools and graduates’ own characteristics three perspectives to proposed effective way).The results show that the overall employment rate of Normal Universities is lower than the national average employment rate, but increased year by year. From the gender perspective, employment situation of male graduates is still better than the female, but for some Normal professions employment, advantages of male graduates are gradually weakening, nearly same with the female graduates. but in the professional structure matching case, female are slightly higher than male. From the academic level, employment situation of the college students are become increasingly increased, undergraduates’ employment advantage is not significant. From the ethnic perspective, the employment situation of minority graduates consistently lower than the Han graduates, the whole employment situation is still not optimistic. From the region selected perspective, we can see that most graduates regard the more advanced economy and culture as the preferred place of employment regions, but job flows is showing a new trend of diversification, there are slight changes in the concept of student, increasing number of graduates are become willing to enter non-state enterprises in recent years.
