| Among the individual exams( Dance Technique Test) holding by each school whichdancing candidates attend, most of them would involve improvisation(improvised dance) andit weighs more than 50 percent of the total assessment in some schools,which shows thesignificance and the necessity of enhancing acting capability of improvised dance. While thecollege entrance examination for art students is rather prevalent currently, the number ofdancing candidates has been increased to a relatively large extent over a decade. However, thecapabilities of candidates vary from each other, even in improvisation tests. Hence, it is ofnecessity to discuss the methods of learning and improving improvisation dancing andestablish a system of assessments.The paper is primarily divided into three parts. In the first part, it illustrates the patternsapplied in improvisation evaluation in Chongqing, regular problems that would come alongand some current case studies. Secondly, combining the characteristics of the process of dancelearning with domestic characteristics and policies in Chongqing, we mainly analyze thereasons why this phenomenon occurs on the basis of two sources of candidates(namely,secondary art school, specialist students in high school).In the final part, we primarily addresson the importance of the acquirement and accumulation of specialized knowledge, generalknowledge and music knowledge. More intensive practices of stage performance andtechniques of improvisation creation also play a significant role in enhancingdancing-competence and acting skills.This paper generally analyzes the current situation of improvisation tests in Chongqingand provides an innovative insight in the learning and improving process of improvisation onthe basis of domestic situation. Some of arguments in this paper are creative, particularly inthe improvisation choreography. Finally, this paper is based on a long-term combination withtheory and practice, which has a relatively high significance of practice. |
