Transfer of learning refers to a study on the impact of another learning, the transfer of teaching and learning is conducive to the integration and application of knowledge. While the mathematical subject’s specialty compared with other subjects, the knowledge of the highly abstract, rigorous logic and wide application etc, so we need to establish the knowledge connection and build an overall mathematical structure system. Researching the transfer theory in mathematics education and teaching and learning in transfer theory, we can better connected in series with the old and new knowledge and organization system of mathematics knowledge, so students can have more effective absorption of mathematical knowledge and gradually to the self production of new mathematical knowledge of the direction of development. The German mathematician Klein’s standpoint: "the concept of function, should become the soul of education of mathematics. With the concept of function as the center, all the mathematics textbook should concentrated around it and integrated fully with it.” The concept of function is the the most important and high abstraction in mathematics learning and has a set of geometry, trigonometry, involving sequence system, so it is particularly important in first contact in junior middle school or high school. Because there are many relationships between junior school and high school in introducing function, so can transfer learning at school functions in this aspect, which will make students more effective in understanding function.The fundamental purpose of this paper is to find the more effective method in students’ learning function and change the situation that teachers Ignore the transfer teaching, so as to make the transfer learning more widely permeated in mathematics education. Firstly, this paper expounds the concept and theory of transfer, and analysis the value of transfer learning in the function; secondly, with the function of middle school and high school learning as the main body, find the relation and difference between junior and senior high school in studying the function from the angle of teachers and students and research transfer function for junior and senior students’ s learning from the effect of transfer(positive transfer and negative transfer), find could migrate part, and puts forward relevant strategies to promote the positive transfer or inhibit the occurrence of negative transfer; Thirdly, we will choose the two equivalent class to practice to validate the effectiveness of the strategy, and analyze results through the investigation of the questionnaire and interview method to the proposed strategy, in order to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the research.
