Mathematics takes thought as the core.Concepts are cells of thought. The quality of concept teaching directly affects the mathematics teaching.In senior high school,there are many mathematics concepts.Concept teaching is especially important.It is difficult to achieve the goal of Mathematics Curriculum if the concept teaching is bad.Start from the background and significance of the senior high school mathematics concept teaching,the author elaborates the current situation of mathematics concept teaching at home and abroad,then defines concepts and mathematics concepts.On the basis of mathematics concept teaching theories,the author combines with the internship experience and puts forward the "three steps" mathematics concept teaching model:(1) Students read books to find out function concept by themselves.(2) Students find out key words from function concept,then teacher explains the key words to help students understand function concept.(3) Students learn to apply mathematics concept through teacher explains instances.Then,the author starts teaching practice by the case of the function concept teaching and designs two teaching-cases.Their contents are the same but the teaching models are different.One is ordinary, the other uses the "three steps" teaching model into it.Through the pre-test,the author chooses two ordinary classes to participate in experiment and uses the two different teaching-cases to give lessons.Then release tests and use tables to gather statistics results.Finally,the author contrasts the teaching effect of the two teaching-cases.The experimental results show that the correct rate of each question in experimental class is higher than control class.In this research,the experimental class uses the "three steps" teaching case and the control class uses ordinary teaching case.So the "three steps" teaching model is superior to the ordinary teaching model.At last,the author do a summary and prospect for the "three steps" teaching model of the senior high school mathematics concept.
