A Research On The Core Socialist Values Nurturing Based On University Mottoes

The party put forward a clear goal in cultivating the Core Socialist Values in the CPC 18 th National Congress. In the new era, however, with the “new normal”presenting in China’s politics, economics, culture and social construction, challenges go with the opportunities. We must address it properly in boosting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream with the power of the people by means of the Core Socialist Values. Universities motto is the essence of universities culture. As a kind of implicit educational resources, fusion ideology, times, guidance,diversity, stability, and radiation, which bears the corresponding function of ideological and political education. Taking universities motto as the base, combining the core values with national education, and making the construction of campus culture correspond to the cultivation of the core socialist value, all are important to meet the challenge and grasp the opportunity.Based on the collection in relevant literature, this paper carries out the research in the following four steps. Firstly, summarize the research findings in the university mottoes and its functions on cultivating students’ faith of the The Core Socialist Values.
