Design And Development Of Chinese Teaching-aided Software Based On Mobile Learning

Teaching field of Thailand is paying incremental attention on assisted learning of using mobile device, and it’s constantly pushing the study and discussion on science and technology information. After investigating the environment of Chinese learning in Thailand, the author found out that there are few opportunities to use Chinese in Thailand, and the existing softwares of Chinese mobile learning are not rich and comprehensive enough. After noticing the problems of Chinese teaching in Thailand,the author hope to design an Android system application of learning Chinese which suitable for Thais, and acts as an example of Chinese mobile learning method.This paper examines the concept, feature, developments and theoretical basis of mobile learning, as well as exploring and analyzing the Chinese learning applications in Thailand which can be classified into pinyin, Chinese character, vocabulary and lesson, and reading and learning. this paper focuses on the design of Chinese learning software, taking lesson eight in book one of “Experiencing Chinese”-the Thai version for high school as example. This paper collects user reviews on the designed software of Chinese mobile learning, and the users recognize that it is a Chinese learning application that suitable for self-learning. At last, the paper concludes the future development of mobile teaching lessons and the shortcomings of this study.
