Discussion On The Altruistic Behavior Of College Student Under The New Era

With further development of the harmonious society, college students’ altruistic behavior also presents different characteristics in the harmonious society of the new period, on the one hand, the main performance of college students’ altruistic behavior in our country: helpful behavior, braving behavior, participation in the activities of caring behavior, volunteer service behavior, Internet altruistic behavior; On the other hand, there is a new problem about college students’ altruistic behavior: good guys were tricked, less belief towards others help, helping others but to have compensation, which leads to the debate on whether we should do good for others or not.In this paper, from the present situation of college students’ altruistic behavior, discusses the main contents as follows: the first part describes the background of the research question, reviews the related research situation and illustrates the purpose of this study, meaning and basic train of thought; The second part is the research theory of altruism, which introduces the theory of western theories of altruism and the debates; The third part taking the weakened altruistic behavior of college students’ as background, gives the investigation of college students’ altruistic behavior in China. The fourth part analyzes the social practice, the influence factors between family, school, and society in the view of altruism theory. Then, promotes the measures in the construction of a harmonious society to cultivate college students’ altruistic behavior; Finally arriving at the conclusion that the essence of man is the sum of all social relations, the construction of a harmonious society cannot ignore the importance of the altruistic behavior, and the altruistic heart eventually contributes to the sustainable development of college students.
