| With the transition of society and economy, the society calls more and more higher technical talents, at the same time, greater demands are placed on the labour force.The higher vocational college’s effective teaching which shoulders the responsibility of developing higher applied and skilled talents of production, construction, management and service is increasingly raising concern. The practical teaching is an important component part and feature of higher vocational college’ effective teaching, and its’ problems are becoming increasingly acute.This paper focuses on the problems about the higher vocational college’s practical teaching and makes a detailed analysis of them. This paper also designs proper solutions and introduces how to implement them effectively. This is definitely an urgent project for the study of higher vocational college’ effective teaching. This paper is the preliminary fruit of this project.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is an introduction, including the causes of the selection of the subject, the purpose and significance of research,domestic and international literature reviews and research methods.The second part is about the basic idea of practical teaching. Firstly, defines concepts.Secondly, introduces theoretical foundations,such as educational theory, psychological theory and philosophical theory. The third part are the problems about the higher vocational college’s practical teaching.They are mainly higher vocational teachers’ low attainment in practical teaching, unclear practical training objectives, lack of practical teaching contents and practicality, poor practical teaching conditions and some problems in teaching activities.The fourth part are the negative effects resulting from the problems of practical teaching. This paper analyses four aspects :students’ learning initiative, teaching quality, efficiency of education and teaching and social satisfaction.This part also analyses the causes of the negative effects. The fifth part is about the solutions. Basing on the practical teaching problems, some detailed strategies are proposed:improving the teachers’ awareness of practical teaching,setting proper teaching goals, selecting teaching contents, improving the teaching conditions and methods. |
