The discipline of geography determines it is a practical course. The geography teaching must be combined with life, improving the student practical ability. In recent years, various parts of the college entrance examinations of geography, is closer to life, committing to improving the students exploring ability. The new curriculum reformed, pay more attention to the comprehensibility of investigation. Questions are closer to life. <The national plan for medium and long-term education reformed development(2010-2020)>calls for the ability to adhere to the strategic themes. Teaching should actively carry out research learning in order to improve practical ability and creative ability. Therefore, in teaching, we should take the new standard as the basic, strengthen practice teaching of geography, improve student’s ability to cope with the university entrance exam questions new topic.This topic based on the analysis of nearly five years national college entrance examination(geography exam part). Through extensive investigation and practice, we understand some problems existing in current geography teaching practice, and in order to improve the high school geography teaching practice, then put forward the related solution strategy. Paper mainly includes five parts:1. Geographical practice teaching connotation and theoretical basis, includes practical education, practical teaching connotation explanation and educational evaluation and examination, Rousseau found teaching and other theories,2. Analyzes 2010-2014 entrance geography paper. Include the structure of college entrance, smart structure and practices to explore new types and high analyzes test new features. Fragment the new characteristics of college examination and investigation capacity and requirements for geography teaching in high school.3. The geography practice teaching survey and analysis of status and existing problems. and interviews, and in-depth analysis of the geographical situation of practice teaching, summed up the main problems in the teaching of practical activities.4. Advancing geography practice teaching strategies. Based on the geographical practicing teaching in high school research, in view of the exiting problems, I give the suggestions to improve the practice teaching.5. Geography practice teaching design. According to the related police and combined with the textbooks, I designed a class geography practice teaching plan of case and extra curricular activities.Finally, in light of my own experience of teaching, I summarized the research achievements and shortcomings and the prospect.
