Every organization has its own features, different from business administration organization, university teachers face the group has its own characteristics. In the era of big background environment, university teachers’ performance appraisal system construction should also take its unique development course, so as to improve the whole quality of the modern university teachers, promote the development of social education reform process, and how to set up under the organizational characteristics of university teachers performance appraisal system is a top priority of the similar problems.Organizational characteristics of university determines the performance appraisal system of college teachers, based on the analysis of the organizational characteristics under the background of colleges and universities, this paper introduces the concrete measures of improve the system of university teachers performance appraisal, performance appraisal system of teachers in colleges and universities on the practical significance of breakthrough and innovatio n. This paper introduces the research background and significance, this paper expounds the research status at home and abroad, research methods and research content of this article, and then lists the structure characteristics of related theory, analyzes t he characteristics of college organization, the relationship with the teachers’ performance appraisal, then according to the current situation of college teachers’ performance appraisal system, puts forward some problems and analyses the reasons of the problems, and to perfect the construction of university teachers performance appraisal in our country has made the route choice, the construction of the college teachers’ performance appraisal system for the future is of certain reference value.Under the construction of the performance appraisal system, can further reflect the scientific concept "people-oriented", in a more scientific and reasonable appraisal system to raise the level of university teachers’ teaching and scientific research level, realize the goal of the development of colleges and universities, perfecting the management of colleges and universities from the aspects of appraisal system construction pattern, promote the process of national education reform.
