Understand Myself:My Education And My Life

Education should be the process of making a children become a free agent. This freedom is freedom in rational sense. If someone wants to reach this freedom, he has to be educated. In the present era of education popularization, school should be given more responsibility. However, the compulsory and intervention of school seems to be beyond the boundaries of freedom, deviate from the human nature and the authenticity of people, stay away from the rational sense of freedom.The article mainly talks about my education autobiography. It is true account of a students from kindergarten to college, and analyzes from the relationship of education and freedom. The first chapter puts forward problem, can education make the person become a free agent; the second chapter analysis the relationship between obedience and freedom in kindergarten, obedience and making a rational behavior can get more freedom; From the primary school education the second chapter finds school system’s constraints is not a rational obey but a kind of control, so that the students’ personality can’t put to good use; The third chapter discusses we can’t negative education because of the strict school education, accept education is an inevitable process of becoming a free agent; The fourth chapter discusses the limit of freedom, in the high school, school education obviously exceeds the limits of the freedom of education, the fifth chapter analysis the problems existing in the education, and reveal to the ideas of "utopia" education.In short, this paper reconstruct the education of one of the students in this era of education popularization, analysis isn’t students freedom in each stage, finds school is deprived of the freedom of students, this would be a kindness, but did not get more freedom, instead of creating a group of irrational and not free students.
