Discussion On Integrating The Art Into The Teaching Of Chinese In Art Schools

Compared to other schools, the teaching of Chinese is especially important for an art school.However, under the current circumstances, there is an over-emphasis on academic studies accompanied by negligence of cultural studies. There is no room for optimism in the teaching of Chinese in art schools. Many scholars conclude from their research that the most efficient way of teaching Chinese in an art school is through the integration of art and the Chinese language. Based on previous research done by others, I have corroborated the research findings with my personal teaching experience. Research findings of this project will provide a guideline for teaching Chinese in art schools.I have used literature review, survey, interview and experimentation in this research and achieved commendable results.Besides the introduction and the conclusion section, this paper comprises five chapters.Chapter 1, Analysis of the current situations of teaching Chinese in art schoolsChapter 2, The connotation, foundation and principle of integrating art into teaching ChineseChapter 3, Integration of art into teaching Chinese from teachers’ perspectiveChapter 4, Integration of art into teaching Chinese based on contextual knowledgeChapter 5, Integration of art into teaching Chinese based on methodologyThis research paper raises the innovative point of using art resources in the teaching of Chinese.Integration of art into teaching Chinese would intrigue students’ interests, provide a more effective teaching method and thus inculcating a more enthusiastic teaching style in art schools.
