Moral relativism is one of main ideological trend of the reconstruction of moral order in China now, as well as a more general phenomenon of the 90s generation undergraduates, which has an adverse impact to university students’ formation of right values and cultivation of good moral character. By reviewing the theoretical connotation of moral relativism, this paper surveys the universities in Fuzhou City, analyzes the tendency and the performance of moral relativism of the 90s generation undergraduates, especially focuses on the serious deviations of the loss of moral consensus, unclear of moral awareness, solipsism, and self-interest appear in the 90s generation university students, and explores the education countermeasures to guide and transform the tendency of moral relativism, to improve contemporary undergraduates’ moral education system as the main theory of core socialist values. |
