The Present Situation And Cultivation Research Of Social Responsibility Of Contemporary College Students

As the central force of social development, the contemporary college students, on whom the hope of achieving Chinese dream lies, are the generation who’s growing up accompanied by the reform and opening-up policy. The sense of social responsibility in college students not only reflects the qualification of the whole nation, but also presents the competitiveness of the country in the future. Therefore, cultivating the sense of social responsibility of contemporary college students has important and far-reaching significance in building socialism with Chinese characteristics and a harmonious socialist society, carrying forward the socialist core values and realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. However, in recent years with the further development of opening to the outside world, the rapid spread of the Internet culture and various trends of thought pouring into the domestic, the value orientation of people becomes increasingly diversified. At the same time, lacking sense of social responsibility in college students becames increasingly serious, which has aroused wide attention from all sectors of society.This paper takes Jiangxi science and technology normal university for example, which applies questionnaire survey to investigate and study the current situation of the sense of social responsibility in college students. This paper firstly draws lessons from the research results of domestic and overseas and discusses the basic connotation classification and formation mechanism of college students’ sense of social responsibility, and puts forward the important significance of cultivating college students’ sense of social responsibility. Secondly, by the collation and study of relevant data from the questionnaire survey, this paper makes a comparatively systematic and comprehensive analysis on the current situation and main problems of college students’ sense of social responsibility, and then further analyzes the reasons of these problems from the aspects of society, school, family, and college students themselves etc. Finally, this paper discusses the cultivating strategies of contemporary college students’ sense of responsibility, which has a certain reference significance for strengthening the cultivation of college students’ sense of social responsibility...
