Research Based On The Support Of Information Technology In Terms Of Group Cooperative Learning

With the proliferation of IT and knowledge, the traditional teaching method can not no longer fulfill the needs of students. This is because it dismisses the interaction and motivation between teachers and students. Therefore, the teacher has to be more creative. Nowadays, new ways of teaching is strongly supported by IT. It is vital to use IT more effectively both for teachers and students. Teachers should be a good guide in searching information while students need to know the basic knowledge about IT. That means the Internet can fulfill the growing demands of students. However, it is very tough to use the IT both for teachers and students.Thus, in order to meet the needs of teaching revolution, we are trying to use the IT for researching information and team working. During this process, I can solve the problems with searching engine based on the analysis of teaching method. The characteristics of new media are automation of assigning tasks, cooperation of teams, integration of knowledge and efficiency of collecting feedback. Based on this teaching frame, activities like writing blogs and viewing teaching are organized. And through massive teaching experience and analysis of students record, the author’s IT skill has improved a lot and so does the students teamwork skill. To make junior English reading course into a useful and skillful course instead of passive teaching and learning serves the frames of junior English teaching.
