With the deep development of the new curriculum reform, "activity design" carrying the new educational concept, which is not only the composing characteristics of ideological and political teaching material, but also a changeable carrier of teaching methods and learning means, whose utilization degree is even the key whether the curriculum reform is successful or not. Therefore, it is necessary to make an analysis and research on the status using "active design", which is the urgent demand to the new curriculum reform and a important way to promote teachers` professional knowledge.The author selects "activity design" of the political life in teaching material as the research object in order to embody the characteristics and time features of subjects. Using qualitative and quantitative research methods, the author combines some experts’ findings and interviews about the teachers in the front line as well as students’ questionnaires, illustrating further the use of "activity design" in the specific teaching environment."Activity Design" of political life in teaching material has functions and features of the ordinary activities, but it is also different from them. So the author makes a limitation to the scope of "activity design", and makes a complete analysis for numbers, types, functions and features of the "activity design". However, in the specific teaching process, the author has found the following issues by the questionnaires through interviews with teachers and students because of unbalanced development in different areas in our country. The teaching materials of "Activity Design" in textbooks cann’t embody time features completely and there are fewer materials close to students’ direct experience. Besides, teaching activities are single as well as the materials cann’t be used in high efficiency and the activity. In the process of activity, the use efficiency of resources is not high and the focus of the usage of resources instead of the results, which makes the students’ main body status cann’t be reflected, failing to change students’ learning methods effectively. To solve these problems, combing with oneself in the effect which is gained in the process of use of "Activity Design", the author put forwards to the following suggestions. First, teachers are supposed to optimize and useteaching materials based on students’ direct experience in life, embodying students’ body status in the activity, promoting individual self internalization so that they can promote and realize the openness and diversity of the evaluation means by changing teaching ways to promote the learning ways.
