Teaching intelligence is an important practical knowledge required for professional development of teachers. It shows teachers’ reacting ability in the unexpected situations that the teachers can react quickly, accurately and easily, and also shows teachers’ creative ability of handling advantaged resources and capturing subtle changes in the class. Teaching intelligence is not only the expression of teachers’ wisdom, but also reflection of the view on education. Teaching intelligence is not only the pursuit of teachers’ professional development, but also demand on teachers’ professional development especially in the context of the new curriculum reform. This paper attempts to explore the main issues of teaching intelligence that how the teachers understand teaching intelligence and how to improve teaching intelligence, and what factors affect teaching intelligence in the actual teaching situation.This paper uses the method of narrative research, choosing two junior high school teachers as the object of study. This study wants to show the story of two teachers’ teaching intelligence, analyzes the factors of teachers’ teaching intelligence, emerges revelation on the basis of the story, in order to be able to help teachers showing teaching intelligence in the practical situations promoting development for teachers and students and improving the quality of teaching.The main body of this paper how the story of two teachers forming teaching intelligence, in order to reveal the significance of teachers’ behaviors. Further more, this paper analyses the factors which affect the form of teaching intelligence from two aspects of subjectivity and objectivity. The subjective aspect is consisting of love and responsibility of teachers, rich heritage, personal teaching style and confidence and emotion ion. The subjective factors include the relationship between teachers and students and the atmosphere in the classroom. Teaching intelligence is the result of subjective factors and objective factors interacting with each other. Research reflects that: Teaching intelligence is from the sensitivity for teaching situations; basing on a deep understanding of the students; the key to generate teaching intelligence is to solve problem creatively; teaching intelligence reflects the teaching reflection level.Accordingly, the researchers come to the conclusion that teachers should establish the scientific concept of teaching and build a harmonious concept of teachers and students;enrich their knowledge of literacy; form a personal teaching style; have a good psychological quality and enhance learning and reflection. The researchers hope that these revelations will help teachers to recognize the importance of teaching intelligence and improve their own teaching intelligence.
