Recently, with the rapid development of electronic technology and increasingly powerful of mobile phone function, mobile phone ownership of college students is soaring and quietly walked into the campus and classroom. College students’ mobile phone usage in the classroom is becoming normalized gradually, whose rationality has directly effect on teaching and learning. Set up a scientific view of college students’ mobile phone usage in the classroom, knowing of the existing problems in the mobile phone usage and solve it reasonably has profound significance for building high quality classroom. The study adhere to the principle of combining theory with practice. Through the method of questionnaire of Dalian, Shenyang and Jinzhou three districts,which including in total of 650 college students, while the study also use the literature method and interview method to support the study. The study aims at learning of the current situation of college students’ mobile phone usage in the classroom, find the existing problems, analyze the reasons and put forward some pointed suggestions, which will improve the quality of classroom teaching and the learning effect. According to this study, there are some dominant problems of mobile phone usage of college students in the classroom as following: the college students’ mobile phone usage in the classroom is extremely common, long and high frequency usage; college students’ cognition of the role of mobile phone and practical usage is inconsistent; the cell phone usage in the classroom is lack of correlation with classroom learning; the reasons of college students’ mobile phone usage in the classroom various and complicated; the motivations of college students’ mobile phone usage are unreasonable. Aiming at the existing problems above, the researchers regard the hierarchy of needs theory, constructivism learning theory and free learning theory as basis and analyze the specific reasons as follows: lack of motivation and self-control; the obsolete teaching idea and stuffy teaching method; the loose classroom management; the "temptation" of mobile phone. Combined college students’ mobile phone usage with the actual situation of classroom teaching, I put forward the following countermeasures: Firstly, play the role of education ethos, regulate the behavior of the classroom; Secondly, clear students’ learning objectives, strengthen self-discipline;Thirdly, activate teaching methods, build up new teaching mode; Fourthly, optimize the mechanism of cultivation, update the course content; Fifthly, open up a new path of teaching, explore the positive role of mobile phone.
