Latest progress and research status of middle school students’ cyberbullying is summarized in the thesis. The research adopts investigation by questionnaire and inquiring method, researching status of middle school students’ cyberbullying of Nanchang and other regions in China. The thesis analyzes the cause of middle school students’ cyberbullying from aspects of person,school,family,society.The thesis analyzes administration strategy of middle school students’ cyberbullying from aspects of school managemengt.The thesis includes four parts.Part one introducts background,significance,status,definition,main ideas and methods of research on middle school students’ cyberbullying.Part two is about status investigation of middle school students’ cyberbullying,by questionnaire and inquires method. The questionnaire investigation is conducted with 300 students from two middle schools in Nanchang for collecting data about form,frequency,injury,measures of middle school students’ cyberbullying.300 respondents are in in Grade Two,Grade One,Junior Two,Junior Three. Survey results showed that middle school students’ cyberbullying existed in different genders,grades,classes,mediums platforms to varying degrees. Middle school students’ cyberbullying’s injurie in differ different medium platforms is different. Interviews with five teachers from two provinceswas were related to status & governing of middle school students’ cyberbullying.These teachers got class managerial experiences in the past years. Interviews showed that most of middle school students have their own mobile phone.Students Surfed the internet mainly by mobile phone and person computer.Contradiction between classmates or rude words are main causes of middle school students’ cyberbullying.Ugly students and weak students are easy targets for cyberbullying. Schools limited students using mobile phone,lack of concrete measures to govern cyberbullying.Timely and appropriate intervention and prevention is also lack.Based on above- mentioned questionnaire and inquires data,Part three analyzes the cause of middle school students’ cyberbullying from a combination of person,school,family,social factors. Individuals’ reasons mainly include immature individual psychology,weak awareness of discipline,inadequate media literacy.Reasons on school-level mainly include lack of internet safe education course,timely intervention, institutionalized management.Family ’reasons mainly include lack of parents or guardian’s warmth and supervising. Social’reasons mainly include convenience brought by science and technology development and lack of corresponding government countermeasures.Part four focuses on governing strategy of middl schoolstudents’ cyberbullying from aspect of school management.Middle schools should implement education strategy,prevention strategy,timely intervening strategy and institutionalized management strategy.Middle schools should establish rule systems about prevention, supervision,warning,education,training,reporting,psychologic intervention,aftermath, risk management,aftertreatment,school-home linkage,rewards and punishment. |
