As the mobile Internet arrival, smart phone has gone deeply into every field as a media form in our daily life. Information, intellectualize and mobility have become trends. From early SMS, MMS and Mobile newspaper to mobile apps by now, with the development of information technology, audience’s demand and the change of propagation mode, mobile apps have become communication channels with unlimited potential.With the development of information and communication transmission, sports events communication has changed communication pattern accordingly. The ways of sports events communication changed radically in 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa and London Olympics. Sports events are not limited to the communication of television, newspaper and website; mobile apps have changed the dissemination patterns because of their humanism tendency such as reach massive, timely dissemination and taking convenience.This paper took FIFA World Cup Brazil as a case study object, analyzed sports reports of CCTV5 app, Sina sports app and Sohu sports office account on design of interfaces, channel settings, number of reports, reports contents and reports forms, summarized their features. Immediacy:news to be updated in "real-time" and audience can get information in time. Humanity:people can watch the games and read news in piece of time. Individuality:apps users can watch the game from multi-perspective and read personalized news. Interactivity:football fans describe in new forms and increase the apps participation.The Brazil World Cup on apps also reflects the lack of sports events communication. News homogeneity phenomenon is very serious in many ways. The insufficiency in the personalization and singular mode of communicate is also a problem. Some news has hyperbolic headlines and limed interactive mode. Accordingly, the apps should put forward the solutions to the situation. The editors should make measures from integrating the content of communication, expanding reports subjects, providing the matches by individual will, training professional ethics themselves and innovating social functions.Concurrently, the paper made projections for the future of mobile apps sports events communication with the development of mobile internet. Firstly, mobile apps will become the main way of sports events communication. Secondly, sports events communication of apps will be more competitive than ever. Thirdly, sports events communication of apps will have more diversified. Last but not least, the streaming features of sport matches will be updated.In general, the advantages of mobile apps sports communication will impact the original media structure; it will have very much developing in future. Through the analysis of CCTV5 app, Sina sports app and Sohu sports office account of FIFA World Cup Brazil, the results show that, different apps have different features and they communicate the games on their merits, single interact ways should be innovated, and original news of apps was not enough The apps should make full of advantages and more types of in-depth reporting. They should also narrow user target and increase the communication platform. Moreover, creating original content is significant. Above all of these could enhance the brand effect of sports events communication in apps and promote the development of sports events communication in mobile Internet environment.
