With the rise of the knowledge economy and the rapid development of information technology, educational service trade has also made substantial development, internatio nal education cooperation is also increasing, educational service trade has increasingly b ecoming an important emerging area of international trade. In developed countries, the United States and United Kingdom, both well-established developed countries, still occ upy the major share of the market, but their educational service trade growth is flat or de dining. By contrast, Australia, with its high proposition of educational service trade in t he whole service export and large number of international students, stand out.In additio n, Australia is famous for its high level of education openness and rich variety of forms and a wide range of education export. As the new country of educational service trade, o ur educational service trade has made great progress,but at this stage, education service t rade in China still faces cultural, institutional, policy and other aspects of challenges.A ustralia as a new exporter education services representative has rich experience for how to choose suitable education service trade routes. In order to better and faster develop C hina’s trade in educational services, based on comparison of Sino-Australian trade in ed ucational services,this paper identifies the cause of educational service trade gap betwee n them, so as to learn from Australia the successful experience of development of educat ion service trade and provide reference for the better and faster development of educatio n servicetrade in China.Study on the analysis of this paper will be carried out in three phases:first, educati onal service trade development comparison and comparison of international competitive ness. Order from the scale and direction of development of education service trade and development structure of compare; with its international market share, index of revealed comparative advantageand competitiveness indicators three indicators of internationalco mpetitiveness of educational service trade between China and Australia. Second, make a n empirical analysis on the influencing factors of China’s trade in educational services. Use regression analysis to the independent variable and the dependent variable, and the1ong-term stabledynamic equilibrium between decisions. Third, from the national policy support, the quality of education in universities, education services, industrial marketing and national language promotion, highlight its own distinctive point of view to find out the gap between China and Australia.Finally come up with revelation for education serv ices in China.
