| Consumption is a permanent theme. Since the beginning of his or her birth, everyone has a very close relationship with it. Consumption, which plays an important role in human social production and human life, runs through the beginning and the end of one’s life, and it’s also a precondition that the entire human community relies on to survive and achieves sustainable development. Since the reform and opening-up, and the economic globalization, collision and integration have happened among countries, which have made big changes in people’s life. In this context, new changes also happen in people’s consumption ethics, and the group of contemporary college students are also greatly affected. They act as the constructors and the successors of the Socialist career with Chinese characteristics, more than, as a special consumption group, their consumer behavior has a certain representation. However, due to the reasons like the immature attitude of society, family and individual and so on, there also exists such unhealthy consumption ethics as the admiration of vanity and luxurious consumption.Therefore, it will be a great significance in finding out their problems caused by poor consumption ethics and figuring out the ways to solve the problems so as to promote the progress of the society and purify the social atmosphere and guide the other groups to make a correct and sound consumption.This paper takes 600 contemporary college students in one of the national universities, Northwest University for Nationalities as the research objects, and gets to understand the present condition of consumption ethics as well as its problems of contemporary college students in national universities with the help of the questionnaire survey and individual interviews. This paper is divided into four chapters. The introduction introduces the purpose and significance of the paper, and the ideas, methods and innovation in writing, as well as the difficulties existing in paper based on the research of consumption and consumption ethics at home and abroad; the first chapter describes the connotation of consumption and consumption ethics as well as their relationships, besides,it also tells what kind of consumption ethics that college students should establish. It illustrates the significance and urgency of building up the correct consumption ethics for college students from three aspects; the second chapter analyzes the present condition of consumption ethics as well as its five problems of contemporary college students through the questionnaire survey in Northwest University for Nationalities, the third chapter analyzes the causes of the unhealthy consumption ethics of contemporary college students in national universities from the four perspectives of society and college students themselves, such as the impact of unhealthy social phenomenon, the blind support of parents, the lack of ethics education in schools, and their immaturity; the fourth chapter proposes to train and guide the students from four aspects in order to solve their existing problems of consuming ethics. For example, to establish a correct outlook on life and values, to create a healthy campus environment, to enable students to become the model and leader of the youth civilization consumption and scientific consumption and to make contributions to the socialist modernization building. |
