Digital Globe System is a teaching aids system which was imported and developed from the United States in 2008. It is one of the digitized educational equipments in information era, and a teaching instrument of monomer digitization which was realized by three-dimensional dynamic display firstly at present. Digital Globe System established a new teaching environment, which made students to get perceptual knowledge with continuous, dynamic and three-dimensional image, thus it can reduce teaching difficulty, solve knowledge difficulty, improve classroom efficiency, and make student’s study more lively, visual, and intuitionistic.The author mainly researched the application of Digital Globe System in geography teaching of high school. The author took “The Earth’s Motion” in PEP Compulsory I for example to analyze the application of Digital Globe System in geography teaching of high school. The aim of this thesis is to provide theoretic guidance and practical reference to geography teachers in middle school of using Digital Globe System in geography teaching better, and the author looks forward to generalize in high school. The author wants to explain how to apply the Digital Globe System in geography teaching from the microscopic level, provide the practical help for the high school teachers in practical teaching, and achieve the new design aim of combining digital geographic features to discuss the “case teaching”.The author analyzed the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, and challenges of the Digital Globe System in high school geography teaching by means of SWOT, and made a further study of the scene of the objects by analyzing matrix apprehensively, systematically, and correctly, and then, made relevant strategies according to the result of the study. Meanwhile, the author particularly stated the application of the Digital Globe System in the high school geography teaching by taking PEP Compulsory I for example.Research shows that main methods of promoting the Digital Globe System application in high school geography teaching are to further strengthen the development of the curriculum resources, to improve the level of geography teaching,to strengthen the modern educational skills training for teachers, especially special training to use Digital Globe System, to strengthen the system to match the digital star database repository and other “soft power” construction, and to improve the integration with the intelligent terminal actively. In high school geography teaching strategies based on Digital Globe System, the main contents of “lesson plan” design strategies are to closely link the three-dimensional target teaching design process, to give full play to the advantages of Digital Globe System and effectively breaking the keys and difficulties, to integrate the apparent selectivity of the text and the versatility of the ways. As for the “courseware” design, we should attention to make full use of existing resources and develop moderately, select the material information carefully and transform the meaning accurately, link the design of the materials closely and avoid giving up the trunks and seeking the branches.
