The Information technology in teaching has become an important part of the study of the current education reform. Compared with the traditional teaching method of the vogue for teacher-centered education, it is not only conducive to reflect modern teaching philosophy, but also can fully stimulate students’ initiative in learning and help them train the skill about self-regulated learning. With the information-based teaching mode, the teachers can improve teaching ability and build students’ scientific literacy according to the characteristics of junior high school physics.In this paper,author solves the specific issues through literature research,then provides us the basic theory about the information teaching and the ways to achieve the teaching.With the case study,the teachers can use the methods in physics.Through investigation and empirical reflection, the author summarizes the problems in the teaching process.The research reveals the purpose and significance of information technology teaching in physics,explains the meaning and characteristics as well.Paper outlines the theoretical basis for the teaching and tells us how to achieve the information teaching under the guidance of various theories.The author puts forward specific requirements of the application in practice,clarifies the respective roles of teachers, students and community,extracts the common mode of teaching.At the same time, the article introduces the way for realizing the information teaching in class by analyzing teaching-cases, displays flow chart, so that the physics teacher can understand how to adapt the skills. At the end of the paper, the author defines the direction of research in the future.The issues conclusions can guide practice,standardize the operating procedures about information teaching in junior middle school physics,solve the problem of how to teach the theoretical knowledge and operational knowledge with the information technology.Application of these theories can improve the teachers’ ability of information technology teaching.
