Low literacy, primary language segment is the language of teaching an important part of teaching is the teaching of reading and writing basis, occupies an important position in the lower primary years period of Chinese teaching. For a long time, low literacy in rural primary school teaching segment is not efficient, not to mention the amount of literacy has been a problem up teachers, parents and students concerned, from teachers strive to improve student interest.in learning, improve teaching methods and other aspects to improve literacy teaching but the plight of literacy teaching has not changed fundamentally. Due to the low segment of the younger students, the autonomy of poor, difficulty concentrating and other problems for a long time, teachers and parents a headache. Low literacy teaching years period have an important impact on future learning and life will, therefore urgent to study and solve the problem, so I choose a new set of Xiangyang Village Primary Schools in the school district for the study, expect to be able to solve the rural lower primary years period Literacy teaching provide some help.In this paper, self questionnaire, the Xiangcheng District Wolong town of Xinji School District Xiangyang four elementary schools, first grade and second grade a total of 278 students and 15 teachers for the survey, using questionnaires, interviews, field observations, literature review data and other methods, the access to information and school teachers with the help of in-depth to learn about the current situation and student status quo learning teaching Xiangcheng District Wolong town, set school district Xiangyang found the lower primary years period of literacy teaching in teaching the problems, master students in literacy learning problems, analyze the causes of the current status quo and suggestions for improvement.In this paper, the first chapter introduces the research purpose, significance and scope of the study, the results of research related to national literacy teaching.
