The purpose of this study was to probe into what difference that group counseling can make to improve high school students’ interpersonal relationships.The specific approach was selecting 20 students who have interpersonal relationship trouble, more or less, in accordance with interpersonal relationship comprehensive diagnosis scale from one high school in Nan Chang.They were averaged into two part randomly, one was experiment group, the other was contrast group. Applied the group counseling to the experimental group members in a total of eight times for a period of two months. After that, measured their interpersonal relationship comprehensive diagnosis scores respectively and take a personal interview for the experiment group members.The analysis of data showed that the situation in the experimental group have improved significantly after group counseling. Personal interviews analysis of high school students in the experimental group also showed a significant improvement in interpersonal relationships.Conclusions: interpersonal group counseling can be effective in improving high school relationships.
