Research On The Innovation Of University Ideological And Political Education From Humanistic Spirit

The cultivation of humanistic spirit is not only related to the development of the individual, but also related with the shape of the national spirit. Universities shoulder the important mission in cultivating and shaping humanistic spirit in the whole society. Universities are the places where students build their characters and where humanistic spirit spreads. Cultivation of humanistic spirit in universities is beneficial for students in both building quality and fostering virtue. The purpose of college education is to cultivate talents who have both professional skills and noble mind. Therefore, for better development of ideological and political education in universities, it is necessary to bind cultivation of humanistic spirit with ideological politics education.Humanistic spirit cultivation and ideological politics education make up the relationship of dialectical unity. Humanistic spirit cultivation is the foundation and ideological politics education is the soul. They influence and rely on each other. The importance of humanistic spirit cultivation in university ideo-political education lies in better results of ideo-political education, which will achieve unhampered development of ideological and political education in universities. It’s important and necessary to innovate in ideological politics education under such condition. Now there are 3 problems of cultivation of humanistic spirit in university ideological politics education. First of all, lack of humanistic connotations in education is a main obstacle. Secondly, students don’t have enough humanistic interest. Thirdly, the personalized characters and needs of students are often neglected. Because of utilitarian tendency in college education, disadvantage in traditional education methods and negative effect of market economy, so many problems appear. Under the background of innovation of ideological politics education and humanistic spirit cultivation, it needs the philosophy of people-oriented, thoughts of subject education and minds of harmonious education. Also, universities should make rational plans on target, content and resource of education. What’s more, humanistic connotations, humanistic values and humanistic atmosphere in universities need to be strengthened.
