At present, the composition teaching is the main body of Chinese teaching in high school. However, during my ten years’ teaching in the mountain school, it is really difficult for the students in my school. They cannot express their ideas in a proper way. Chinese characters, punctuation are often wrongly written. Writing skills, rhetoric and background are also wrongly applied. In order to improve students’ writing ability, Chinese teachers in Biiian Middle School make a research in this field. Firstly, they make a survey about students’ writing ability. Then, the results are sorted by students’ grades and levels. Next, students will be trained to apply proper words, phrases, sentence patterns and contexts. Through mutual evaluation and correction, the different levels of students can help each other to improve their writing abiiity. Students will be trained in details according to the point of "Gollege Entrance Examination Explanation" and " Chinese Curriculum Standards". Finally, teachers in ay school a I so make a quantization operation with the purpose that it can be applied by students when writing and can be used by teachers when teaching compositions, and it works. In a word, this article is to provide some feasible ideas and effective guidance to the further development of Chinese teachers in composition teaching in middle school.
