After the relevant policies in our country were published, theschool layout adjustment movement, which has launched more than ten years, wasfinally stopped. Although the school layout adjustment movement has stopped, butits effect are still continued, and it is difficult to eliminate in a short time. In morethan a decade,the remote rural areas in China is undoubtedly the "disaster zone". Ahuge number of village elementary school were merged or withdrawn. Because mostof the national minority community is located in the very remote rural areas, so theschool layout adjustment movement leads to an obvious impact on these areas.Insome ethnic minority areas, the village primary school are almost all removal. Pupilsof the whole township were concentrated into the central primary school to go toschool, this has brought a lot of difficulties and distress for many students andparents in the region. Those rural primary school which no longer havestudents,some full of weeds by abandoned,some change to fester because of becomea pigsty, shelter. Once the voice of the children when they are learning have nowhereto find. How can we effectively solve these problems,which come from schoollayout adjustment? It is a difficult problem for every education policy maker, teacherand someone who concerned about the education. The country needs development,education needs to change, but people need to progress. How to make security andrespect each person’s basic rights in the country’s development and education reform?All politicians, educators should not ignore it.This paper mainly from the following several aspects to research the problem ofthe school layout adjustment in ethnic minority areas.Firstly, selecting the S Miao Nationality Country in Hunan province for a casestudy, to explore the development of the school layout adjustment, then to learn the prominent problem of the school layout adjustment in ethnic minority areas.Secondly, rational thoughts about problems of the school layout adjustment byanalyzing the causes of “one size fits all”, the gain and loss. Finally, put forwardsolutions of the problem of the school layout adjustment in ethnic minority areas byefficiently running village elementary schools, carefully running central schools,financially supporting the village primary school, improving conditions of thevillage elementary school, improving the teacher’s treatment and guiding villagers torespect teachers and education of their kids.
