Under the concept of deepening teaching reform and promoting thequality education in the today’s education field, curriculum reform is booming.To keep the classroom teaching and curriculum standard consistent is everyteacher’s responsibility and curriculum standard’s inherent requirement.National ministry of education formally enacted The English CurriculumStandards of Compulsory Education Phase and began to implement innational primary and secondary schools’ English classroom. The key of thecurriculum reform is its implementation and the classroom teaching is thebasic way of curriculum implementation. Curriculum standard’s new idea andthought gradually integrate into the teaching. The reform has caused thesocial public opinion, especially the field of education. Many experts,scholars and teachers have carried on thorough discussion and teaching whichare really significance to my paper about the the research of the coincidencebetween the classroom teaching and the curriculum standard. I hope thisresearch can provides some reference opinions for English curriculum reform.Using the method of literature analysis, classroom observation andinterviews, this paper researches on the following three problems: is thejunior high school’s the English classroom teaching and the Englishcurriculum standard coincidence? Do English teachers understand theEnglish curriculum standard? What cause the difference? mainly from the listening, speaking, reading, writing, voice, vocabulary, grammar, functionand topic from the language skills and language knowledge to analysis thosethree problems, the author researches the seven grade’s English classroomteaching and English curriculum standard and W school’s Charming Englishweek in every semester.In the process of investigation, observation and interview, the authordraw the following conclusion: the teacher’s classroom teaching and theEnglish curriculum standard have a lot of inconsistent: teachers andprincipal’s understand to the English curriculum standard are not good;English teachers’ professional quality are low.At the end of the paper, the author gives advice to the English teacherand principal for keep good consistent between the English classroomteaching and the English curriculum standard: the advice of improving thelanguage skills and language knowledge; the advice of updating teachers’concept and professional quality; the advice of playing principal’s multipleroles.
