Teacher-student relationship is an important part of the higher education system, and is the core of the relationship in teaching process. The relationship between teachers and students plays a vital role in their own growth and the effect of teaching. A questionnaire survey shows that the relationship between teachers and students generally is good. There are mainly for the promotion of democracy and equality, the pursuit of interaction and cooperation, and the emphasis on teaching and learning. But there are also many problems in this relationship, which is chiefly manifested as follows:indifferent exists between teachers and students; utilitarian tendency exists teacher-student relationship; inequalities exist between teachers and students; and the lack of coordination between their expectations. Therefore, constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship in the university has become essential.Finally, on the basis of literature research and survey data analysis, the reason mainly from the traditional concept of education; the impact of higher education popularization; information technology and network, and factors between teachers and students. And there are several measures in constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship in the university:Establish a concept of "harmony" in teacher-student relationship; control enrollment,construct small class sizes and establish mentoring; build a new platform for the exchange of teachers and students; train teachers and students interact capabilities.
