| In the process of steady progress of Chinese industrialization, informatization andurbanization, modernized agriculture developed relatively slowly, which restricteddevelopment process of China’s agricultural modernization. Thus, it is difficult toachieve the aim of "Synchronization of Four Modernizations" with Chinesecharacteristics that put forward in the18th National Congress of the CPC. Therefore,it is urgent to implement the reform of traditional agriculture, and to achieveagricultural modernization.The achievement of agricultural modernization should not only rely on modernindustrial equipment and advanced scientific technologies, but also on the applicationof advanced management method on agriculture. And all these must be promoted byhigh-quality peasants. It will be difficult to achieve agricultural modernizationwithout the modernization of peasants’ qualities. Peasants’ Education is thefundamental means to cultivate high-quality peasants and the foundation ofagricultural modernization. This thesis provides a detailed analysis of the factors thathinder the development of agricultural modernization in China.Through a systematic study of the effect of peasants’ education on agriculturalproduction elements and the elaboration in three aspects of labor, capital andtechnique elements, a series of suggestions are proposed for peasants’ education, thatis, peasants’ education should be towards the achieviements of sustainabledevelopment of agriculture; the education should focus on improving peasants’thoughts; and peasants’ education is supposed to meet the needs of modern marketand improve the inputs of government for the education of peasants.In brief, in the operating process of agricultural production, the creation ofadvanced production tools relies on men, advanced science and technology depend onmen to explore, advanced management experience should be summarized by men, theapplication of advanced operating system and mechanism relies on men. To this extent, the agricultural modernization that we mean to achieve is the people-orientedone and that we mean to achieve is the peasants’ideology. |
