Abstract/Summary:
As higher education develops quickly and enters the period of popularization, young teachers have become the main force of the reform and development of colleges and universities. Many problems of the young teachers’morality emerge and achieve wide attention with the furthering of the reform and opening of our country and the fusion and collision of eastern and western culture. The morality of young teachers is not only related to the healthy growth of college students, but also to the future of higher education and the country, which makes this problem, should not be ignored.With the guidance of dialectical materialism and based on the summary of existing research, the paper takes young teachers of the colleges and universities in Beijing as the research object, analyzes the regional characteristics of the colleges and universities in the capital through questionnaires and interviews, clarifies the related concepts of moral construction, induces the main problems in the morality of young teachers in Beijing from the five aspects of ideals and beliefs, professional belief, educational consciousness, the image of a person of exemplary virtue, academic morality, and find out the cause of moral problems from the respect of young teachers, universities and social. The paper points out that personal cause of young teachers’moral problems is the neglect of its moral cultivation, low income and the large pressure of work and life; the cause on the side of university is that the system of moral construction and mechanism is not perfect, the oriented assessment and appraisal standard is unreasonable and the ideological and political education of young teachers are not available; and the social cause is the negative impact of the market economy,"official standard" culture and the challenges of popularization of higher education. These three aspects influence and interact with each other, leading to the moral problem of young teachers.In order to solve the moral problems of young teachers, the paper proposed countermeasures in four aspects. Firstly, the whole society should fully realized the importance of the moral construction of young teachers in colleges and universities and create a good social atmosphere, actively respond to the influence and impact brought by popularization of higher education and take the initiative to adapt to it. Secondly, the university should improve and refine ethics code, establish a reasonable performance assessment and scientific assessment system, through which regulate the behavior of the young teachers. And greater efforts should be made to encourage young teachers to show their talent. Thirdly, the ideological and political work of young teachers should be regarded as an important part of the moral construction of young teachers, and need further strengthening. Not only to explore the content and form of the innovation of ideological and political work, but also to attract young teachers and enable Party branch to truly become the bastions of the young teachers’group cohesion. Fourthly, in order to enhance the level of morality and really to take the duties of teaching, young teachers should take the initiative to improve the awareness of self-discipline and strengthen self-cultivation. The level of young teachers’morality can be improved through the interactive of the mentioned aspects above.
