Research Of The School Moral Education In Perspective Of Virtue Ethics

Moral education is a constant of history, and the ethics of people attends throughout theentire ancient Chinese school education system. In the modern history, by the influence ofWestern education system, moral education has become specialized courses, which has played apositive role in developing qualified citizens and improving the quality of civic virtue.Immorality and lack of creditability; materialism and benefit first accelerate alienation, thoseproblems are urgent to seek solutions.School moral education is one of the main positions to solve the above problems. Byanalyzing the status of the current school moral education, it is found that more attention hasbeen paid on the modern moral subject external behavior, while ignoring its inherent, reflectingthe characteristics of the standardization. This mainly reflects on the facts that studentsconscientiously understand and comply with the requirements of the specification as theeducational goals, the society common normative as the educational content, the sermons andexhortations for instilling method as the main approach, the test scores as the main standard,ignoring the initiative and the inherent physical and mental development as the law of theeducational process. As a result, moral education in schools is lack of flexibility, and the neglectof human subjectivity, which lead to the difficulties. Virtue Theory dominates in ancient westernphilosophy, because by looking at the behavior of the intrinsic qualities of the main constraints,is able to compensate the lack of moral norms on education, and to solve the plight of moraleducation to provide a new theory dimension.The article on the history of the development of moral perspective, analysis as a solution tothe plight of the advantages of lies, which is the key to grasp the human nature rather than itsbehavior, explore the inherent moral quality of human development itself significance. Thendescribes the ideal school moral education is to standardize education and moral education of theorganic unity. The goal is layered, with the unity of knowledge as the primary goal, with thepersonality improving and achievements of a happy life as the ultimate goal; the principleincluding a preventive measure and other norms and principles of autonomy, such as resorting tomoral principles; the content is in the focus on the basis of standardized knowledge, moreemphasis on the emotional and the will; the educational process pays more attention to thephysical and mental development of the subject, whose focus is to teach; the evaluation criteriaof the effectiveness of moral education in schools is no longer a single test scores, but doublestandards of teachers and students to develop and good social morality. So education is the needto address the moral issues, but also to address the needs of school moral education predicament.
