As a result, the problemof left-behind children’s moral education is increasing, and it has become a hot issuerecently. Because of the long time separation between migrant worker parents andtheir children, the left-behind children are living in foster care of grandparents and theentrusted education environment where the schools focus on the safety and talenteducation and ignore the moral education. In addition, influenced by the rural localculture rupture, the restriction of urban and rural binary policy, and the lagging ofeducation development, the moral education of left-behind children is in a “vacuumâ€state. Lack of moral education caused the quality of left-behind children moral slide.They generally have the psychological confusion, lack of emotion, constraint the poorability of personality characteristics. Therefore, conflicts may arise in dealing with therelationship of families, peers and teachers. To some extent, it affected the socialharmony. While the limited education of grandparents and their backward ideas oftenbring negative effects on children growth. This issue should arouse the attention ofparents, teachers, and relevant education departments to seek effective moralmeasures, cooperate actively, form resultant force, and constantly implement inpractice. In this paper, by using the definition of the concept of left-behindchildren and lack of moral education and the related literature, summarizes thedefinition and origin occurs between them. At the same time, taking Ruzhou, Henanprovince left-behind children as the empirical research samples, described andanalyzed the left-behind children staying status in the city specifically, summarizedthe prominent ideological and moral problems of them,. After the investigation, theauthor found that left-behind children moral education situation in Ruzhou isworrying. The main problem is about some aspects, such as weak will-power,behavior deviation, lack of moral character, distorted values, etc. According to theleft-behind children moral education present situation in Ruzhou, this paper makes acareful analysis of the main problems. The causes of the lack of moral education ofleft-behind children are discussed as following:(1) the neglect of inter generationaleducation;(2) the parents’ weak attention;(3) the lack of correct guidance in life; and(4) the lack of school education. These are the main cause of the causes of lack of left-behind children moral education. Finally, through the investigation of the pre-demonstration, based on the summary of domestic experience, lesson is proposed onthe moral education problems of left-behind children and the countermeasures andsuggestions from school education, family education, social education threedimensions:(1) the cooperative education;(2) the establishment of moral educationand care system;(3) to improve the school education;(4) to implement effectivesocial education measures. |
