Youths’ value of Marriage and Fertility means a cognitive process that individuals focuson their own conditions, and to select the models that best fit their marriage expectations. Thepurpose of this study was to explore the Minnan Youths’ value of Marriage and Fertility,andunderstand the Relationship between Minnan Religious Faith and the view of Marriage andFertility. We designed four researchs to achieve that goals: Study one on the basis of literaturereview, open questionnaire survey, interview with Youths’,expert feedback and theoreticalconstruction,and developed the questionnaire about Youth’s Views on Marriage andFertility(YVMF).Study two use the YVMF tested in Minnan Youths’to explore the status ofMinnan Youths’ Marital and Fertility Values; Study three use the YVMF and Santa ClaraStrength of Religious Faith Questionnaire (SCSORF) tested in Minnan Youth’s to explore thestatus of Minnan Youths’ Religious Faith, and understand the Relationship between MinnanReligious Faith and The view of Marriage and Fertility; Study four using the ImplictAssociation Test to explored the status of Minnan Youths’ Implicit Marital and FertilityValues,and to understand the Relationship between Minnan Religious Faith and The ExplicitMarital and Fertility Values. The results showed as follows:(1)《YVMF》 including eight dimensions,which are Physiological resources EquivalentConcept(PE)、Mental resources Equivalent Concept (ME)、Sexual Physiology resourcesEquivalent Concept (SPE)、Social resources Equivalent Concept (SE)、Marriage AttitudeMatching views(MAV)、 Marital Roles Matching views(MV)、Marriage RelationshipMatching views(MRV)、Fertility Attitudes Matching views(FAV). the results show a rathergood fit between the data and the model. YVMF was reliable and valid for measuring theYouth’s Views on Marriage and Fertility.(2) Minnan Youths’ Marital and Fertility Values tended to be positive, there weresignificant differences between Minnan Youths’ and Non-minnan Youths’ Marital andFertility Values.(3) Minnan Youths’Religious Faith wsa in a high degree, The degree of Minnan Youths’ Religious Faith have a certain predictive power to Minnan Youths’ Marital and FertilityValues.(4) Minnan Youths’ Implicit Marital and Fertility Values tended to be positive, theimplicit structure of Marital and Fertility Values differed from the explicit one, The degree ofMinnan Youths’ Religious Faith have a certain predictive power to Minnan Youths’ ImplicitMarital and Fertility Values.
