As a special and vulnerable group, due to various objective and subjective factors, the disabled has enjoyed a low participation in sports and fitness. On the process of constructing a harmonious society, great success has been achieved in competitive sports for the disabled and20-year-operation of the social sports instructors. It is a great contrast to see the sport participation of the disabled is far from satisfaction. To reverse this situation, the government has issued relevant document proposing to train fitness instructors for the disabled as a talent guarantee. At the end of2011, CDPF held the first course aiming at training the fitness instructors for the disabled, unveiling a nation-wide training series. At present, both the national and local training are in the preliminary stage concerning the selection of the course content, course design and etc. From the perspective of public service, this dissertation attempts to construct the course, hoping to optimize the training course and provide scientific basis and valuable reference to related department which formulates the training course.This dissertation takes course design of the fitness instructor for the disabled as research object, using research methods like literature research, survey, action research, and mathematical statistics research. It clarifies the connotation and extension of public service, basic public service, public sports service and public sports service for the disabled. It points out the far-from-satisfaction public sports service for the disable is restricting the development of the masses sports for the disabled in our country. It analyses5advantages and11accompanying restriction in the fitness participation of the disabled. These subjective or objective factors severely damage their participation enthusiasm. Constructing the course from the perspective of public service, theories from management science, sociology, anthropology, and education science are introduced to set a theoretical basis concerning service theory, social mutual aid theory, fusion theory and courses design theory. This dissertation suggests dividing the course into theoretical and practical part based on course length, students and future application. The theoretical part consists of nine sectors, while the practical part adopts various teaching methods to strengthen participants’understanding of the theoretical part. By comparing the first national training course and the first training course in Fujian province, it analyzes their pros and cons.Finally, this dissertation proposes practical solutions respectively to the course construction and improvement of the fitness instructor for the disabled. |
