Vocational college graduates are technology applied talents geared to the needs of production, for the first line at the grassroots level. In the campus atmosphere that pays attention to practice, vocational college graduates have strong beginning ability and the knowledge structure of manuscript, but the employment pressure is still there. With higher education into the popularization era, employment situation of the vocational college graduates is becoming more and more serious, and the values plays an important role in the process in college students finding employment. Vocational college students’job values shown by the students in the career choice tendency, attitude and selective behavior is the positioning of its own value, not only affect their career choice and employment, and on their work attitude, work motivation, and even the entire social development and progress will produce profound effect.Firstly, the introduction part describes the problem of employment, especially the importance, necessity of vocational college graduates employment values studies, and then the related research reviewed, summarized. A questionnaire formed according to the combination of basic employment theories and the local employment theories. This survey takes Shandong Lanxiang Vocational College as an example research. Secondly, analyze the data from questionnaire survey through the general analysis, then summed up the basic characteristics of vocational college graduates employment values, that is reasonable salary and workplace expectation; finding jobs in their fields; accepting to be an front-line worker, wisely attitude towards entrepreneurship. What’s more, gender, skill-level and native place have significant influence on employment values. Thirdly, analyze how the different factors include personal factors, school factors, social factors and government factors impact on employment values. Lastly, proposed strategies about how to lead the students to set up right employment values, details are as follow:schools should enhance the education of values、Students should advance their self-improvement、Society should promote the skilled workers’social position、Government should ensure the skilled workers’ benifits.
