Due to the mathematical ability of students there are individual differences, which leads to the same mathematic exercises to different students have different problem-solving difficulties. The purpose of the study is to implement mathematic exercises on layer teaching in Senior Middle One, that is up to the basic requirements under the premise of the different levels of students on their standard of Mathematics, students are to be classified into three levels which are Level A (students who are excellent in Mathematics), Level B (students who are average in Mathematics) and Level C (students are poor in Mathematics), so that they can help individually development in class.There are six parts involved in the study. The first part is an overview of development and evolution of Independent Chinese Schools in Malaysia, and also the status quo and development plans of Foon Yew High School where the author is teaching. Therefore, readers in Mainland China can understand more systematically in the education of Independent Chinese Schools in Malaysia. Besides, it also shows the importance and necessity of this study.The second part is not only the definition of layer teaching, but also the situation of layer teaching in China and other countries.The third and fourth parts are introducing the experiment and the implementation process in layer exercise Mathematics teaching of Senior Middle One in Foon Yew High School. These parts consist of typical cases of analysis, and the investigation before the experiment.The fifth part is to do with the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods for analysing the result of experiment in layer exercise Mathematics teaching in Senior Middle One. From the analysis of the results, the experiment is obviously effective and successful.The sixth part concludes some results and reflections of the experiment, and also some suggestions, for example, how to improve the study quality in Mathematics in Level B (students are average in Mathematics), is the important point in the near future for next experiment.
